SYRACUSE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT: NOTTINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC FIELD & TURF REPLACEMENT, Syracuse, NY
Project Overview
As part of a term contract with the Syracuse City School District, NKB provided design and construction administration services for the replacement of the artificial turf field, running track surface, and associated athletic facilities at Nottingham High School Stadium.
Services included project management, site investigation, design development, bidding support, construction administration, and coordination with Appel Osborne LA, owner representatives, regulatory agencies, and local authorities. NKB prepared design documents, specifications, cost estimates, and SED submissions, while also coordinating stormwater management, permitting, and a required drainage study for the City of Syracuse. The project was funded through a combination of capital reserves and serial bonds.
