Interior Designer

Work Environment:
This position is fully remote! In-person team meetings may be required from time to time.
Approximately 10-20% travel is expected to various job sites and client locations.
Responsibilities
Build new relationships with professionals in their field of interest, as well as with clients, sub-consultants, vendors, and contractors.
Seek opportunities to generate proposals that result in new business for the firm and contribute technical content to proposal responses as needed.
Assist in preparing formal presentations.
Work as a member of a team on large, complex projects as directed by the Project Manager or Principal to understand and translate the client's project needs and requirements into project designs, including drawings, specifications, code requirements, cost estimates, and reports.
Assist with coordinating project effort through all five phases of design, including schedule, scope, roles, and budget.
Assist in performing construction document and coordination reviews.
Perform basic site observations, such as recording existing conditions and construction progress.
Collect/compile project data such as measurements, counts, inventory, meeting minutes, and gathered published information.
Work as a member of the team with construction administration phase services and activities as directed by the Project Manager or Principal.
Assist with general office and administrative tasks under the direction of licensed professionals or the Director of Business Operations.
Qualifications / Requirements
8+ years as an Interior Designer
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or related degree
Professional and technical writing proficiency
Proficiency in BIM, CADD, Excel, Word, Vision, and publishing software programs
NCIDQ certification preferred
Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications. This position might be eligible for part time consideration with compensation adjusted appropriately.
